Relief Live-in Care Assistant

We are looking for relief live-in carers that can be on hand in an emergency or to cover sickness. The successful applicant would have to be flexible and available to cover at short notice. By its nature live-in care requires care assistants to reside in the client’s home. They should ensure they respect the privacy of the client and their family at all times. Driver essential.

Experience preferred but not essential as full training is provided. All successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure (DBS) expense will be met by the employer.

We have vacancies available for a live-in support worker in Chelmsford – 2 weeks on – 2 weeks off.

Our client is a female with an acquired brain injury and you will be working on a 2:1 basis supporting her with all aspects of her personal care, mobility and therapy. Salary £800 per week.

Our client is a young male who has a physical disability the role is to support him to attend university and will include assistance with meals, toileting, showering, transfers (toilet/shower/bed), dressing, ensuring wheelchair is charged etc, domestic support. Accessing the University campus, attending lectures and being able to scribe for the client. You will be supporting our client on a 1:1 basis. An interest in politics, rock music and computer games advantageous. The position is available term time only (39 weeks per year). Salary £800 per week.
